MINUTES
The Physical Plant Committee of the Hollidaysburg Area School Board met Wednesday, October 16, 2025 at 5:30p.m. in the Senior High Library, 1510 N. Montgomery Street, Hollidaysburg.  
Board members in attendance were Dr. Li, Ms. Luther, Dr. Wells, and Ms. Sullivan.  Also present were Mr. Whitesel, Superintendent, Dr. Boone, Assistant Superintendent, Mr. Caldwell, Director of Human Resource/Transportation, Mr. Nihart, Director of Physical Plant and Mrs. Bell, Director of Accounting Operations.
Discussion Topics
Senior High Roof Project -  Mr. Nihart gave an update on the Senior High Roof Project: Phase 1 was completed in the Summer of 2025, and Phase 2 is scheduled for the Summer of 2026.
Junior High Project - Mr. Nihart gave an update on the Junior High Project which will start in May. The replacement of classroom doors will take place during the school year, but will take place in the evenings. 
Possible Capital Reserve Projects for Summer 2026 - Projects currently under consideration include replacement of the Foot of Ten generator, painting of the Junior High bell tower, painting of the stadium light poles, and sidewalk replacement/repairs at the Junior High. The meeting was adjourned at 6:06p.m.
