HOLLIDAYSBURG AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT
MINUTES
The Athletic Committee of the Hollidaysburg Area School Board met Wednesday, June 18, 2025 in the Senior High Library, 1510 N. Montgomery Street, Hollidaysburg.  Ms. Sullivan called the meeting to order at 5:02p.m.
Attending were Ms. Sullivan, Committee Chair, Ms. Costanza, Mr. Whitesel, Dr. Boone, Mr. Nihart, Ms. Faith, Mr. Arthur, Mr. McCloskey and Dr. Letcher.
Dr. Letcher noted the following recognitions:
District Recognition of Spring Teams and Individuals
District 6 Class AAA Boys Doubles Tennis Champions – PIAA Qualifiers:  Felix Xu and Garrett Bouchard
District 6 Class AAA 200M Dash Champion – PIAA 4th Place – Isaac Yarnell
PIAA Track Qualifiers – 400M Run and Long Jump – Emily Clapper
Junior High Girls Track and Field District Champions
LHAC Tennis Team Champions – Boys Tennis
LHAC Track Champions – Boys Track
LHAC East Section Champions – Baseball
LHAC All-Sports Championship Trophy – Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers
Fall Sports Preview:  The Fall sports schedules, subject to change were reviewed with no overnight trips scheduled.
Restore the Roar Update: The Junior High Soccer Scoreboards will be installed, early July.
Facilities:  The swim contract with the Blair Regional YMCA will be on the July board meeting agenda for approval and track patching will take place in the next few weeks.
Miscellaneous:
Proposed Ticket Prices for 2025-2026 will remain unchanged from 2024-2025
University Orthopedic Center contract will be on the July agenda for Dr. Kanski, team doctor
Golden Tiger Kickoff Day at Tiger Stadium (Saturday, August 16, 2025)
College Signings: Wrestling:  Carson Krupka and Logan Krupka (Penn Highlands), James Bialo (Bethany) and Mitchell Baronner (Gannon)
Dr. Letcher noted that Wyatt Maines had a scholarship to play football for Saint Francis but he has decided to attend James Madison University. 
Ms. Sullivan suggested that surveys for student athletes be given to both parents and athletes every year for all sports, instead of every 3 years, with the board to be updated with the results.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:13p.m.
