MINUTES

The Policy Committee of the Hollidaysburg Area School Board met Wednesday, July 16, 2025 in the Senior High Library, 1510 N. Montgomery Street, Hollidaysburg PA.  Ms. Luther called the meeting to order at 5:09p.m.
In attendance were Ms. Luther, Ms. Sullivan, Dr. Li, Dr. Wells, Ms. Bilek, Mr. Whitesel, Dr. Boone, Mr. Nihart, Mr. Arthur, Ms. Faith and an Altoona Mirror representative.
The board reviewed the following policies:

  325 AR      Dress Code for HASD Employees      REVISED
  321.1      Displays and Decor in the School Setting   
There committee reviewed policies 815.4, 202, 325AR with no changes.
The committee discussed Policy 321.1 Displays and Décor In the school setting.  
The committee agreed to strike out No. 3b (page 2) entirely and to strike from No. 3c (page 2) “in/around” and replace with the word “on” and to strike entirely “which are not expressly political (i.e. advocating support of specific political parties or candidates).
Ms. Luther adjourned the meeting at 5:46p.m.
