MINUTES

The Physical Plant Committee of the Hollidaysburg Area School Board met Wednesday, October 16, 2024 in the Senior High Library, 1510 N. Montgomery Street, Hollidaysburg.  Mr. Snyder called the meeting to order at 4:48pm.

Attending were Ms. Bilek, President, Ms. Sullivan, Dr. Li, Mr. Snyder, Ms. Luther, and Dr. Wells.  Mr. Brenneman arrived at 4:58pm and Dr. Sommer arrived at 5:35pm.

Also present were Mr. Whitesel, Superintendent, Mrs. Boone, Assistant Superintendent, Mrs. Prosser, Director of Special Education, Mrs. Fiscus, Business Manager/Board Secretary, Mrs. Bell, Director of Accounting Operations, Mr. Nihart, Director of Physical Plant, Mr. Arthur, Director of Technology, Mrs. Cerully, Dr. Letcher, and Mr. Keagy.  Mr. Caldwell, Director of Human Resource/Transportation arrived at 5:46p.m and Attorney Dambeck, Solicitor arrived at 5:54p.m.

District-Wide Feasibility Study

Scott Cousin, Senior Project Manager and Fred Withum, Director of Educational Planning with Crabtree Rohrbaugh and Associates presented a feasibility study, updated from the feasibility study conducted in 2022.

They reviewed updated enrollment projections, a variety of elementary consolidation options and a master schedule.

Melissa Hughes, Senior Managing consultant with PFM Financial Advisors, LLC. presented various financing options.

The meeting was adjourned by Mr. Snyder at 6:24p.m.
