MINUTES

The Policy Committee of the Hollidaysburg Area School Board met Wednesday, January 25, 2023 in the Senior High Library at 6:13p.m. 

Mr. Brenneman called the meeting to order with eight attendees.  In attendance were board members Mr. Brenneman, Ms. Hartman, Ms. Bilek, Dr. Sommer, Ms. Frye, Mr. Stephens, Ms. Costanza, and Mr. Snyder.  Also present were Dr. Gildea,  Dr. Palazzi and Mr. Caldwell.  Attending virtually were  Mrs. Koehle, Mrs. Fiscus, Mr. Arthur, Mr. Nihart, Mr. Hartline, Mr. McCall, Dr. Letcher and Mr. Krott and an Altoona Mirror representative, Jason.

Mr. Snyder left the meeting after discussion of Policy 227.

The board discussed and suggested edits to policies. Policies with edits will be sent to the board for final review before the first reading on February 8.  Policy 251 will be reviewed by the solicitor prior to the first reading.  Policy 321 will be reviewed by the solicitor prior to the second reading on February 8.

Mr. Brenneman declared the meeting adjourned at 8:22p.m.
