MINUTES

The Physical Plant Committee of the Hollidaysburg Area School Board met Wednesday, April 5, 2023 in the Senior High Library, 1510 N. Montgomery Street, Hollidaysburg.  Mr. Stephens called the meeting to order at 6:00p.m and opened the meeting with the pledge to the flag.
Attending were Mr. Stephens, Ms. Frye, Mr. Brenneman, Ms. Bilek, Dr. Gildea, Superintendent, and Mr. Nihart, Director of Physical Plant.

The following topics were discussed:

•    Energy Savings Project

Mr. Nihart presented information on the Energy Savings Project to include cost and pricing from the McClure Company, 2023 GESA Project Proposed Costs and Funding and Financing prepared by Brad Remig Managing Director and Melissa Hughes, Senior Managing Consultant with PFM Financial Advisors, Inc.

Tiger Stadium Track Resurfacing options and costs.
Tiger Paw Path Repair options, costs and funding.
Capital Budget Report 

Capital Reserve 5-Year Plan
The committee summarized the discussion topics and agreed on moving forward with the Tiger Paw Blacktop repair with the use of the budgetary reserve funds and two capital reserve projects – Charles W. Longer fire alarm panel replacement and the stadium track resurfacing.
Mr. Stephens, Committee Chair, will present the report at the May 17, 2023 COW/Voting Meeting.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:20p.m.
