Mrs. Katelyn Prosser - Director of Special Education
Kate is honored and humbled to join the Hollidaysburg Area School District as Director of Special Education. She is very passionate about education and looks forward to collaborating with you to provide our students with a rigorous, engaging, and high-quality education.
Prior to starting in Hollidaysburg, she was a Supervisor of Special Education in Red Lion Area School District (2023-2024), a Learning Support and Diagnostic Kindergarten Teacher in Hempfield School District (2020-2023) and an Emotional Support Teacher with IU13 (2018-2020). She started in education as an Autistic Support Teacher in the Susquehanna Township School District (2017-2018). She graduated from Clarion University of Pennsylvania in 2018 with her B.S. Ed in Special Education K-12 and M.S. in Education as a Reading Specialist. She completed her Special Education Supervisory Certification at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania in May 2023. She lives in Hollidaysburg with her husband, Grant, their son, Judson, and two dogs, S'mores and Rollo.
