Dr. Sarah Palazzi has served in the Hollidaysburg Area School District since 2009. She began her professional career as an elementary school teacher at Charles W. Longer Elementary (2009-2017). In 2017, she transitioned to Title 1 Reading and instructional coaching at Charles W. Longer and Frankstown Elementary Schools (2017-2021). During the 2021 school year, she joined the administrative team as Interim Director of Curriculum. On May 4, 2022, Dr. Palazzi became Director of Curriculum for the Hollidaysburg Area School District. She is a life-long resident of the District, having graduated from Hollidaysburg Area School District in 2005. She graduated from Shippensburg University in 2009 with her BS.Ed in Elementary Education; in 2013, she graduated from Saint Francis University with her Master's Degree in Education; and in 2020, she graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with her Education Doctorate. She lives in Duncansville with her husband, AJ, and their son, Dominic.
