Mr. Justin Arthur began serving as the Director of Technology and Cyber Academy Coordinator in July 2014. Mr. Arthur is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, having majored in secondary education mathematics and minored in computer science. He began his professional career in the Altoona Area School District as a junior high mathematics teacher. At Altoona, he also served as an instructional technology coach. Mr. Arthur has gone on to earn a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Gannon University, a master's degree in Learning Technologies and Media Systems at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology, and an Instructional Technology Specialist Certification from the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
Being a 2000 graduate of the Hollidaysburg Area School District, Mr. Arthur feels it is an honor to serve the community he grew up in. Under his leadership, the Hollidaysburg Area School District has been recognized nationally as a Google for Education Reference District. He is supported by his wife Abby, and 4 beautiful daughters.
